Dance theatre about the stigmatisation of people living with HIV/AIDS

#STUDIO PRODUCTION

“Tolerance should really be only a temporary attitude: it must lead to recognition. To tolerate is to offend.” — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Today, many people believe they know everything there is to know about HIV and AIDS. And to most, discrimination seems like a marginal issue in our society. But what if you are HIV-positive? This performance invites the audience to step into the everyday lives of people living with HIV and AIDS. It reveals both visible and hidden forms of discrimination – and shows the impact these have on the lives, dignity and wellbeing of those affected. Through movement and self-written texts, deeply personal stories are brought to the stage.

Help us turn tolerance into recognition.
