Viannos: Late Voices is an immersive exploration of suppressed history, transgenerational trauma and the continuing relevance of the past. Its starting point is the Nazi massacre in Viannos, Crete, in 1943. Combining documentary theatre, live singing and VR, the performance creates an atmospheric space of remembrance. The audience moves through real locations and stories that continue to resonate today – between wounds that are slow to heal and the vision of a vigilant future.
