In our everyday lives, we constantly move between the paradoxes of self-presentation and exposure.

To what extent do we present ourselves? What do we hide when we reveal ourselves? What becomes visible when we conceal? Where are identities staged?

The audience is invited to step into a walk-in performance installation – a liminal space between reality and identity.

An illusionistic evening awaits: one that deceives the eye while simultaneously exposing the act of deception. Through various forms of masking and unmasking, a space opens up for reflection and interpretation.

The stage space both offers and denies access and perspective. The installation compels the audience to make their own decisions:

Where do I look? What do I choose to miss in order to see something else? How close do I want to get? How strong is my curiosity? How much do I want to become part of the performance – self-display or avoidance, surveillance or sanctuary, reality or construction?

Where are the boundaries – and do they still exist?
