#DIPHTHONG PRODUKTION
Ageing is a universal yet often hidden experience. In a society that idealises youth, the voices and bodies of older people are frequently pushed to the margins. But what if we understood ageing not as a farewell, but as an integral part of being? What if we recognised the traces of time on our bodies not as flaws, but as manifestations of our lived experiences?
Inspired by Moonlight Sonata (1956) by Giannis Ritsos, “Zeit in meine Haar” explores the tension between the dancer’s personal memories and society’s perception of ageing. The DIPHTHONG artists’ collective presents a physical reflection on transience, decay, and visibility.
